In Relation With

Co-curated group exhibition / 2025 / Göteborg

In Relation With was a group exhibition co-curated collectively by PhD students at HDK Valand and held at Pony Books, as part of GIBCA Extended in Göteborg.

The exhibition brought together six artistic practices engaging with relationality — between bodies, materials, landscapes, and collective memory.

The exhibition closing on November featured a programme of live activations:

• Chaga tea ceremony with Susanne Ewerlöf • Listening session with Maria Karpushina and Monika Gabriela Dorniak • Film screening with Nika Grigorian

As a follow-up, we organised a Collective Walk & Activation in Färjenäs Forest Garden, inviting participants to engage with the surrounding landscape through collective movement and embodied encounter.

In Relation With emerged from a shared interest in how artistic practices create spaces of relation — where the personal meets the communal, and where situated knowledges unfold through dialogue, sensory engagement, and co-curatorial experimentation.
