Nika Grigorian (b. St. Petersburg, Russia) is a research-based artist, curator, and educator whose practice focuses on the intersections of feminism, post-socialist rurality, and peasant knowledges. Through a multidisciplinary approach, her work investigates the cultivation practices of women in post-socialist rural spaces, examining how these practices intersect with broader socio-ecological narratives. Currently, she is pursuing a Binational Artistic PhD between the University of the Arts Bremen (HfK Bremen) and the Valand Academy (HdK Valand), where her doctoral research focuses on the embodied and material knowledges of women in these contexts.

Grigorian’s practice spans exhibitions, publications, educational initiatives as well as art in public spaces. She has published numerous articles, zines, and magazines. From 2019 to 2021, she worked as the publisher of eigenart Magazine at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK). During this time, she was also an active member of the General Students' Committee and Students Parliament, and co-founded Klasse Klima and UdKFF, initiatives advocating for climate justice and feminist discourse. From 2022 to 2024, she worked as an online editor at Berlin theater Sophiensaele, furthering her engagement with performative and textual practices. Currently, Grigorian is actively involved in Frauen machen Druck, an independent printmaking group, that amplifies diverse, migrant, and feminist voices. 

Grigorian holds an MA in Art in Context from UdK Berlin and a BA in Journalism from St. Petersburg University.She teaches at HfK Bremen and HBK Saar, where she continues to explore the intersections of art, research, and pedagogy.
